In-Situ Balancing

In Situ Balancing is the balancing of Blower Fan, Motor Rotors, Shafts in its own bearings & support structure rather than in balancing machine.

There are many benefits of In-Situ balancing over the dynamic balancing of the rotor on balancing machine.

• Major advantage* In Situ or Field Balancing, the rotating part under balancing gets balanced in respect of all the fittings & assembly of the equipment. If we get rotor separately balanced over dynamic balancing machine then there are chances of rise in the vibration of the equipment. 
• In-Situ Balancing is done as per customers schedule, hence managing it without hampering production activities much is possible.
• Unlike Dynamic balancing of rotor, dismantling of equipment is not necessary in In-Situ Balancing.
• Dynamic balancing requires shutdown of complete plant for some period
• Transportation of equipment to vendor is avoided
