CM of Blowers

CM of Blowers includes CM of Motor parts & CM of Fan & the Drive (Transmission System). These Fans lose their balancing weight & get unbalance usually. Also, the dirt/dust particles get deposited on the fan blade and that causes unbalance. Hence, normally as per practices in most of the companies, Blower Unit undergoes in-situ balancing once or twice in a year but no CM is done on it. Unlike in Pump, here most of the Condition Assessment work is done on Fan normally and Motor is ignored in most of the cases.

The correct process is to monitor the condition of Motor Parts, Transmission Drive & Fan separately.

Our CM of Blower Unit includes, Vibration Measurement for Blower Unbalance, Misalignment, Motor Rotor Unbalance, Foundation Rigidness, Base Rail Deformations, Fastening at Motor & at Fan, Ultrasound Analysis for Motor & Fan’s Bearings and Thermography for Transmission Drive, Bearings & Motor Windings.
