Substations & Switchyards
The Substations plays a major role in the distribution of electricity for Electricity boards. The Substations includes Transformers, Gantries, Feeder, Switching Station. The CAss of Substation is done to monitor the condition of Low-High Voltage Bushings/ Oil level/radiator of Transformers, OLTC’s, gantry Jumper Joints, Insulator Disks, lightning Arresters, Different Insulators, Isolating Switches, CT -PT’s, SF6 Breakers, & Isolators.

Ultrasound Assessment, Thermography & Oil Analysis are the techniques used in the assessment of the condition of the switchyard. These techniques used to detect faults like Arcing, Tracking, Corona, Contact resistances, Gases Leaks, Barber Pole Effect in conductors, the Oil level in transformers, radiator fins clogging & Oil Contaminations.
