CBM of Electric Panels

CBM of Electric Panels includes CM of HT/LT Panels & CAPA.

CM of LT panels is done with Thermography. Not only contacts but condition of component of Electronic Circuits is also monitored. The purpose of this CM is to find the faults like Contact Resistances at joints, Overloading, Single Phasing, Unbalance Load, Harmonics.

CM of HT panels includes all that in CM of LT Panels and additionally, Ultrasound Inspection is done to find out the condition inside the panel before opening the door. If Tracking or Arcing is detected then panel can be opened only after disconnecting the supply. Actually, all these HT Panels must be fitted with Infrared Windows in order to carry the thermography & Ultrasound assessment, without opening the doors.

The Corrective Action includes, repair of Contacts/ cable Joints, Replacement of Lugs, Replacement of breakers etc.
