Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) of electric motor includes monitoring condition of different parts, likely to fail of motor, viz. bearings, winding, core, shaft, with probing study for soft foot, bent shaft, piping strain etc & rectification like rewinding, core rebuilding, bearing replacement etc. Acoustic lubrication/greasing may be part of CBM of motor.
